About River Oaks Golf Course
The River Oaks Golf Course is situated in Grandview, Missouri, and it is a public golf course that was established in 1995. However, the golf course officially closed its doors on November 4, 2018, after the city of Grandview received a conditional use permit application from a developer for an apartment complex to be built on its grounds. Prior to its closure, the River Oaks Golf Course was known for its challenging layout that featured undulating fairways, elevated greens, and a number of water hazards that added to its difficulty. The course also featured a pro shop, practice facilities, and a restaurant that offered a variety of dining options. Although it is no longer in operation, the River Oaks Golf Course remains a beloved local landmark for many residents in Grandview.
