Designed by Steven Halberg and opened in 1996, the Sanctuary Golf Course in New Lenox, Illinois, is a public 18-hole course featuring bent grass greens, tees, and fairways. Spanning 6,917 yards from the back tees with a slope rating of 134, the course offers a challenging yet enjoyable experience for golfers of all skill levels. Notable for its 'links style' feel, the course includes 75 bunkers and water hazards on 14 holes, with the signature 5th hole being a 508-yard par-5 featuring water along the left side of the fairway.
