About Ancil Hoffman
Ancil Hoffman is a regional park located in Fair Oaks, California. It is named after Ancil Hoffman, a prominent Sacramento County citizen who bequeathed the land to the county after his death in 1963. The park covers an area of 396 acres and features a nature center, a golf course, picnic areas, equestrian trails, and hiking trails. The nature center at Ancil Hoffman park provides interactive exhibits and educational programs about the natural history of the American River Parkway, which runs alongside the park.
