River Oaks was a beloved Louisiana-style restaurant located in Leeds, Alabama. It was known for its savory Cajun and Creole dishes, including crawfish etouffee, gumbo, and jambalaya. The restaurant was also famous for its cozy atmosphere, complete with a fireplace and live piano music. Sadly, River Oaks closed its doors in 2007 due to financial difficulties. However, its memory lives on as a favorite destination for locals and tourists alike.
