About Aulangon Golf Hugo

Aulanko Golf Hugo, located in Hämeenlinna, Finland, is a historic 9-hole course established in 1940, making it the oldest course in Finland still retaining its original routing. Designed by Scottish architect Mr. Fred Smith, the course features sloping and fast greens that challenge players' short game skills and patience. Named after Colonel Hugo Standertskjöld, the founder of the Aulanko park in the 1880s, the course is set amidst a picturesque landscape of old oaks and rolling terrain.
