Castle Point is a local government district in the southeastern end of the English county of Essex, located on Canvey Island. Canvey Island is situated on the Thames Estuary, and Castle Point is mostly a low-lying area with flat, sandy beaches and extensive tidal mudflats. The district is primarily residential, with a mix of private and council-owned properties. Castle Point is home to a number of attractions, including the Canvey Island Transport Museum and the Leysdown Coastal Park. It is also known for its popular seafront, which is a popular spot for swimming, windsurfing, and paddleboarding.
