About Bangor Municipal Golf Course
Bangor Municipal Golf Course, located in Bangor, Maine, is a 27-hole championship layout designed by Geoffrey Cornish and Brian Silva. Opened in 1964, the course features a parkland setting with forgiving fairways and large, dome-shaped greens. Notably, it hosted the 1978 Public Links Championship, becoming the first and only club in Maine to host a USGA Major.
