Known for its open layout with minimal tree coverage, the course offers little protection from the South Kansas breeze, providing a challenging experience for golfers of all skill levels. Since 2014, Buffalo Dunes has hosted the Garden City Charity Classic, part of the LPGA's Symetra Tour.
