Royal Troon Golf Club, established in 1878 in Troon, South Ayrshire, Scotland, is renowned for its challenging links courses. The Old Course, designed by George Strath and Willie Fernie, and later enhanced by James Braid, has hosted multiple Open Championships, most recently in 2016. The club's Portland Course, designed by Willie Fernie and redesigned by Dr. Alister MacKenzie, offers a complementary yet demanding experience. Notable features include the famous par-3 8th hole, 'Postage Stamp,' and the par-5 6th hole, 'Turnberry.'
