About Arsenal Island Golf Course
Established in 1897, the Rock Island Arsenal Golf Course in Illinois is the second oldest in the state, offering a historic 9-hole layout on an island in the Mississippi River. After a seven-year closure, it reopened in April 2025, featuring bent grass greens and fairways that challenge golfers of all skill levels.
