Gilbertsville is a small unincorporated community located in the southeastern part of Pennsylvania in the United States. It is located in Montgomery County and is home to approximately 4,600 people according to the 2010 census. The community is located about 35 miles northwest of Philadelphia and is a part of the Boyertown Area School District. Gilbertsville is best known for its proximity to Green Lane Park, a 3,400-acre park known for its scenic beauty and recreational opportunities. The community is also home to several historic sites, including the Gilbertsville Historic District, which was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1988.
