About Poppy Hills
Poppy Hills Golf Course, located in Pebble Beach, California, is an 18-hole public course designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr. and opened in 1986. Owned and operated by the Northern California Golf Association, it was the first course in the U.S. to be owned by an amateur golf association. The course underwent a significant renovation in 2014, enhancing its playability and environmental sustainability. Poppy Hills has hosted notable tournaments, including the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am from 1991 to 2009 and the Nature Valley First Tee Open from 2014 to 2016.
