Sydney R. Marovitz Golf Course, established in 1932 and originally known as Waveland Golf Course, is a public 9-hole course located in Chicago, Illinois, along the shores of Lake Michigan. Renamed in 1991 to honor Sydney R. Marovitz, a former Chicago Park District commissioner, the course offers scenic views of the lake and downtown skyline. Designed by Edward B. Dearie, it features tight greens, numerous bunkers, and a challenging layout suitable for golfers of all skill levels.
