About Guadalhorce
Guadalhorce is the name of a river that flows from the Sierra de las Nieves mountain range in Malaga province. It is approximately 154 km long and it empties into the Mediterranean Sea at the city of Malaga. The Guadalhorce river basin is considered the most important wetland area in Andalusia, Spain, providing habitat for a rich variety of flora and fauna. The river is also a popular destination for fishing and water sports such as kayaking and rafting.
