About Jay Peak
Jay Peak is a popular ski resort located in the town of Jay, Vermont. It has the highest summit elevation in the state at 3,968 feet, and receives an average of over 350 inches of snowfall each year. In addition to skiing and snowboarding, Jay Peak also offers other winter activities such as tubing, snowshoeing, and indoor waterpark. The resort is also known for its "Jay Cloud" which is when the mountain is shrouded in a mysterious fog, adding an eerie beauty to the scenery. Jay Peak is also home to some fantastic hiking trails, including the Long Trail which runs through the heart of the Green Mountains.
