Carnoustie Golf Club is one of the most famous and historic golf courses in Scotland, located in the town of Carnoustie in Angus. It was founded in 1842, and the course's reputation was cemented with the hosting of numerous prestigious championships, including The Open Championship, the oldest of the four major golf tournaments.
