About Karsten, ASU
ASU Karsten Golf Course, located in Tempe, Arizona, was a public, 18-hole, par-70 course designed by renowned architect Pete Dye. Opened in 1989, it served as the home course for Arizona State University's golf teams and featured Dye's signature mounding and bunkering. The course closed on May 5, 2019, to be redeveloped into sports fields, with ASU's golf teams relocating to Papago Golf Course.
