The golf club "University of Illinois" is home to one of the top collegiate golf programs in the United States. The Fighting Illini golf team has won multiple Big Ten championships and has also competed in the NCAA Championships on a regular basis. The club itself features a 36-hole facility known as the Stone Creek Golf Course, which was designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr. and features a challenging course layout with multiple water hazards and bunkers. In addition to the championship golf course, the club also offers an extensive practice facility with a driving range, putting green, and short game area.
