Essendon is a village located in the parish of North Mymms, in Hatfield, Hertfordshire, England. It is a small and quaint village with a population of around 500 people. The village is noted for its picturesque countryside, with a variety of footpaths and woodland walks. The village also has a church, St. Mary the Virgin, which dates back to the Norman era, and a pub called The Rose and Crown. Essendon is also home to the Essendon Country Club, a superb 18-hole golf course set in 400 acres of beautiful parkland.
