About Launceston Golf Course
Launceston Golf Club, established in 1899, is the oldest 18-hole golf course in Tasmania and the fifth oldest in Australia. Located in Kings Meadows, the par-72, 5,808-meter course offers a challenging yet rewarding experience for golfers of all levels. The course features tree-lined fairways, well-manicured greens, and strategically placed bunkers, with notable holes like the 13th, a 159-meter par-3 with bushland and water hazards. The club provides extensive practice facilities, including nets, practice fairways, chipping and putting areas, and a well-stocked Pro Shop. The welcoming clubhouse offers a hospitable environment for relaxation before or after a round.
