Knollwood Country Club, established in 1894 in Elmsford, New York, is one of the oldest private golf courses in the United States. Originally designed by Lawrence Van Etten, the course underwent redesigns by notable architects A.W. Tillinghast, Seth Raynor, and Charles Banks, culminating in its current 18-hole layout. The course features a unique 19th hole, a par-three used for settling ties or unresolved matches.
