The Banff Springs Golf Club, located in Banff, Alberta, offers a historic and scenic golfing experience. Originally designed as a nine-hole course by Bill Thomson in 1911, it was expanded to 18 holes by Donald Ross in 1924 and later redesigned by renowned Canadian architect Stanley Thompson in 1928. The course is renowned for its breathtaking mountain views, particularly the iconic 4th hole, known as Devil’s Cauldron, a par 3 over a glacial lake beneath Mount Rundle. The club has hosted numerous tournaments and continues to be a cherished destination for golfers worldwide.
