About Meadowbook
Meadowbrook is a former golf course located in Gainesville, FL. It was established in 1963 and closed down in 2019. The 18-hole golf course was designed by Joe Lee and featured a driving range, a pro shop, and a restaurant. Over the years, Meadowbrook hosted numerous tournaments and events, including the PGA Tour's Gainesville Open. The property was sold in 2020 to a developer who plans to build a mixed-use development including residential units and commercial space.
