The Country Club of Detroit, established in 1897 in Grosse Pointe Farms, Michigan, is a private club featuring a historic 18-hole Regulation course and a 9-hole Par-3 Executive course. The Regulation course, originally designed by Bert Way and later redesigned by notable architects including Harry S. Colt, Charles Alison, Robert Trent Jones Sr., and Tom Doak, offers a challenging layout with a par of 72 and a length of up to 7,100 yards. The club has hosted significant tournaments, including the U.S. Amateur in 1915 and 1954, where Arnold Palmer secured his first USGA title.
