About University Golf Course
University Golf Course is a popular golfing destination located in Vancouver, British Columbia. It is situated on the University of British Columbia (UBC) campus and is one of the oldest golf courses in the province. The course was designed by renowned course architect A.V. Macan and was established in 1929. It spans 6,384 yards and features 18 holes, offering a challenging yet enjoyable experience for golfers of all skill levels.
The course is popular not only for its well-groomed fairways and challenging greens but also for its stunning views of the North Shore Mountains and Pacific Ocean. Additionally, it offers a range of amenities and services, including a fully stocked pro shop, a practice facility, a driving range, and a clubhouse with a restaurant and bar.
University Golf Course has played host to several major golf tournaments over the years, including the PGA Tour Canada Vancouver Open and the BC Amateur Championship. It is known for its excellent course conditions and friendly staff, making it a top-rated golfing destination in Vancouver.
